So... I know this girl. And she's amazing. And she just got accepted to Connecticut College today. And she called me and started the conversation with, "Will you visit me in (at?) Connecticut?" And at first I didn't get it. I was thinking to myself, "Like... when the winter/spring ensemble goes to Connecticut? OF COURSE I'm going!" And then all of a sudden it dawned on me. ELIZABETH BOYLAND GOT INTO CONN! And I literally screamed. Just ask her. I didn't even know what to say. And I almost started crying. I am not even joking; that's how proud I was and how happy I was for her.
ANYWAYS. Today was fine. Only went to three classes, then had lunch in the band room like a loser with a few people, then we went to Saint John's and played an awful performance, though it was expected and the kids didn't seem to notice. I came home and my brother and I discussed my PSAT scores and taking the SATs and such because I had no homework, and my dad called and said how pleased he was with my scores even though I don't think they were spectacular or anything? So then I was like, OH! IT'S 3:45! I HAVE TO WORK IN 15 MINUTES! So I rushed to get ready and at 3:48 I was like, wait a second. I live not even a minute away from CVS. So I went back on the computer and didn't leave until 3:56. Then I worked, and basically I did cash register with another girl because it was so busy I couldn't do anything else. Then one of my favorite fellow workers Nicole came in and we had a blast after that, running around the store and "facing" and basically being mean to one another in an awesome way. CVS is opened until midnight until Christmas so at 10 we were like, we want to stay!! But it's illegal so we left the cool people we like to work with at 10:15.
So I get home and I'm like, "OH! Ted! I wanted to let you know... see this shampoo I bought for color-treated hair? That you've been using? Yeah, it'll wash out your hair if it isn't dyed. You'll go gray even quicker than you are now. And don't you care that you smell like a chick?" Hahahaha. I totally scared him. He believed me. He flipped. And then I told him I made it up but made him give me one dollar to pay for what he was using. Teeheehee.
This has been a nice day.
