Question by the lovely and talented and adorable as a precious monkey
kingzgurl Questions for your meme. Some of these are completely random and have nothing to do with anything.
1. When you were younger, what was the most UNUSUAL thing you wanted to be when you "grew up"?
2. What is the longest game of Monopoly you've ever played?
3. How many languages can you speak competently?
4. On average, how many cups of water do you drink a day?
5. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
My answers:
1) When I was younger I (in all absolute seriousness) wanted to be a Jedi and/or to go live with the Autobots and have Optimus Prime adopt me. That was my goal. Sadly (or not) I'm pretty sure that's still what I want.
2) The longest game of Monopoly I played (Star Wars Monopoly, surprise, surprise) was one I played with my brother and it lasted about 5 hours. Towards the end I was begging him to take all my property and win because I was so bored, but he was relentless that he wanted to win "for real". I started cheating just so that I could lose and be set free from the shackles of Monopoly oppression.
3) Competently, just the two: English and Spanish. I have a sorta half-assed understanding of Italian and am teaching myself Mandarin (using a CD course I got on e-bay called "Teach Yourself Mandarin").
4) I drink a ridiculous amount of water in a day, usually tap water. Oh yes, people, TAP water. It has to be crazy cold water though. I'd say I drink anywhere between 8-12 glasses a day.
5) "If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?" Hmmm. Well, if I suddenly develop the ability to live in fictional places, I would live wherever Optimus Prime happened to be because I love him and I'd love to hang out with him. I'd also live on Serenity, because that's where I'd probably be happiest, and my husband lives there. If that doesn't happen, I'd probably want to live in Ireland. It's beautiful, I love the culture and it's so incredibly GREEN. Or, most likely, I'd stay in Miami, just 'cause it's home.
