When Patience Rained

Apr 02, 2008 13:09

When the heavens decided to shower patience, I was outdoors carrying an umbrella. Only that my umbrella was inverted. Everything funnelled to me. I got all the patience in the world, and the miseries that came with it.

Long patience sometimes is not worth it. People tend to look at you as a push-over. Somebody to overlook. A little lapse on their part, and a little apology would suffice.

Sometimes I wish I didn't go out with an umbrella. I should have just stayed home. Those people who stayed indoors when patience rained tend to be people who are taken very seriously. Everyone dreads comitting mistakes in front of them.

Sometimes I wish I wasn't too much of a sunshine factory.
