Notes for Thursday

Sep 15, 2004 16:45

Yay for sleep that gets interrupted by random phone calls. Or not. Anyway, my to-do list:

-Get groceries tonight for Ho's house
-Call Brandon about Sat. night work
-Get fitted for tux
-Interview in New Castle at 1:00
-Cologne?
-Prep marinade and caramel
-Call KaveMan

Wrote that during my lunchbreak. What since? Well, eariler I was bleeding from three places on the same fingertip, cuz halfassed copper braiding jobs do that sort of thing to you. Bose, you suck. That said, I really want to get into working more on my computer and making money doing it. As is, I feel like a child behind the wheels of a 4x4...all these great tools for production/creation, yet so much to learn. If you know Photoshop, Premiere, Flash, or well, pretty much anything, we will work something out for instruction. I'm very serious about this. Whew, now it's time to change clothes, then off to start that list. Tomorrow's gonna be great.

EDIT: OMFG what a day for a freak show. First of all, forgot to mention that a group of guys walked into work today, all holding hands. Nothing huge, mind you, but not expected, so it definitely caught me off guard. Theeeeeeen came Wal-Mart. "Vampires" meeting in front of the store. Being an upright citizen, I decided it was my moral obligation to warn the people coming out of the store. Fucking loser larps d= Next came the guy with crazy eyes and no arms throwing things into a basket some fifteen feet away with his teeth. I quickly looked for the EGRESS, with groceries in tow. Then a girl actually noticed my get-me-laid IndyDDR shirt and actually knew what it was. Holy hell! So I ask if she plays..."Yeah, a little, nothing competitive. I usually play Might and Magic type games." So I laughed out loud (I must be high on life right now, cuz I just didn't give a fuck at that moment, maybe it was the whole Vaudeville aura about the place) and made some comment about how killing goblins wasn't quite the same as arrow-smash, but whatever. She smiled anyway. Now I'm back home, with some good food and even better company.
