WTF?
I may have mentioned before...in fact I know I've been bitching about this ad nauseum for two months now...that I've been working out of boxes. I've been moved twice to two different temporary quarters and I am disorganized, frustrated and absolutely petrified at this point that I'm not going to be ready for the audit I have coming up in 19 days!!!
Well finally, today, the company shows up to start installing the new office space units (AKA cubicles). They should have been here at least two weeks ago. But I digress. They showed up today at about 9:00am. They more or less were making pretty good progress - at least the cubicle that I know is mine is pretty much together.
But they packed up and left 20 minutes ago, at 2:30. This doesn't compute? Ok, so they are headquarted in a city about an hour's drive from here. So, I give that their day may have started at, let's say 7:30. Leaving at 2:30 gets them back to main location at 3:30....ok FINE, they technically put in their 8 hours. But that's BULLSHIT! I'm sorry. Does this company refuse to pay overtime?? I just think the job NEEDS to get done.
Ok, done whining. BUT MY SPACE damn well better be completed by the end of the day tomorrow so that I can spend the weekend AT WORK getting organized!!! Oh, and there will be no overtime for me either. But I'm choosing to GET THE JOB DONE.
*Makes disgusted noise* Grrrrrrr!!
