Hello, Interwubbers.  I'm back!  Miss me?  Nah, didn't think so; I'm mythical, not ridiculous.

Watched 'Million Dollar Baby' this evening, a good movie, despite being a definite, deliberate tear-jerker; I feel a bit as though I've been fleeced or something, albeit good-naturedly, by Clint Eastwood.  Was surprised to see that he wrote some of the music for the movie, as well as both starring in and directing it.  Hilary Swank was definitely ( Read more... )

• Friday Oct 8, 8:30 p.m.:  Joe's Garage Restaurant, 115 - 5th St, Courtenay, $12 advance / $15 at the door.  Very limited capacity for this intimate and special show.

• Saturday Oct 9, 8:00 p.m.:  Joe King Ballpark Hall, Hornby Island, $15/12.  A rollickin' dance party that will rock late into the night!
