Look~ A Meme
I spent several hours cooking over the past two days. Everyone has their own pie, their own bottle of wine, about 4 pounds of turkey, and still more. The Dog didn't get his own pie, but he did get a few pounds of turkey.
Also, apparently grocery stores selling wine includes it in their free samples, here. By state law they had to charge, but it was a "suggested donation" of 25 cents, and the lady poured me a full glass (from a nice, $26/bottle red), discussed wines and red meats with me, recommended a few, and then asked if I wanted another glass. I got toasted and started some Christmas Shopping while the buzz wore off. At no point did anyone ask for my ID, I just had to feign interest and education on wines.
