For those of us interested in defeating Bill C-61, there is a meeting at 5PM at Speaker's Corner, in Regina. The intent of this meeting is to get the ball rolling on organized resistance or protest against this bill, and to ensure that we're all on the same page.

( After he got back I walked around, and saw the ameba people, and the first umbrella carrier. It had begun; Suddenly, people were starting to converge from all over the place, another umbrella opened, and all 4 umbrellas were all out. People were streaming in from all over the place, easily over 20, possibly up to 30 even. There was a wall of managers with their arms crossed nervously at the doors to WalMart. We slowly made our way from the back of the parking lot to the side of the front doors, under a giant sign saying VISION CENTER, where the first blows of the pillowfight began. I noticed a very old fashioned hat wearing 10six in the crowd. It was on. I stood on the fringe of the mob(and unlike the last flashmob, this truly was a mob; there was mayhem at any direction, an ameba of soft pleasurable violence. I kept my eye on the WalMart managers, waiting for the moment where they would sick the police on us; it never came, someone hit me and my glasses fell to the ground, and someone else hit me and my knife fell to the ground from where it was on my pants. I picked both up and put them in my pockets. Someone from out of nowhere handed me a pillow; I took it and proceeded to wimpily hit back anyone who hit me. )
