Progress in English?
First Essay - 60%. I could have done better, perhaps, had I more time, but that's pretty damn good for a first essay. I think my first essay in english 100 was graded 15%. This mark suggests I could pass this class after all(even without meirionwen's help---with her help I'll be able to do perhaps not too badly!)

In a strange turn of events, it turns out that the CS reading course I'm taking is slated to be spread out over the entire summer, despite my request for it to only be a spring class. This eases some pressure, but I'm supposed to be working(!!!) and I really can't afford to take classes all throughout the summer. I'm going to have to figure something out about this, and soon.
