The Muses Within Prompt: A day in the life of...

Being the cat in John Kramer’s household is a pretty good life.
What is a typical day in the life of Etta the little white cat? Well, she sleeps a lot, of course. She naps with John during the day, and sleeps on his son Gideon’s bed at night when John is all wrapped up in his lovers, Amanda and Zep. And then there’s adventures to be had. Hunting and climbing and playing… chasing mice or bugs. Amanda, who genuinely hates and fears these insects, sees Etta as her hero! The kitty has plenty of toys to play with and chase, but crumpled paper is probably the best thing to pursue after real live prey…
And seeking affection is also good. She can get it by sitting on anyone’s lap, or scooting down John’s robe - the most fun of all! Snuggling in John’s chest hair while kneading him with her small paws… bliss!
Eating - another favorite activity. Cream and chicken is the best, though kibble, fish and milk are also delicious!
And after it all, the mysterious things that only cats know about. Followed by more sleep, of course!
Etta is a never-ending source of wonder to John and her entire family.
