After listening to NPR everymorning, afternoon and basically everytime I'm in the car, (as well as watching some Daily News and Colbert occationally) I have come to the decision that I like Hillary.  I know most of you are saying "Ee-gats!  NO!" but here is why I my vote (if I actually do go and vote, it is not a standard practice of mine) will go ( Read more... )

First of all it is way more than 30min a day.
And obviously you didn't read my post.

I never mentioned policies or political stands not because I don't know what they are but because the way I see it they are irrelevent. Why? Because what I have learned is that for the most part whatever their stands are during campaining doesn't really count or help because once they are elected into to office they have a supreme battle against sentate and house of reps and commitees etc etc to make those things happen and 9 times out of 10 it doesn't. And in next elected offical has mad clean up to do before they can even mention their policies anyway.

Another reason why I didn't mention the campaign "promises" is because that is not what I was talking about. I wasn't argueing about what they stand for and all that, I was expressing my impression and gut feeling about the two canidates.

AND to rebutt your catagorizing me you too fall into that catagory of Obama fandom that I mentioned.

And here is a fact for you which adds to my suspicion: why does Obama's peeps not let people who come to the rallies and meetings and such bring their own posters but "provide" premade I heart Obama posters which they can only use AND why does he not allow a question and answer forum only yabbers on in speech after speech? Granted they are eloquent etc.. but to me he, in the end he is not really saying anything real.

AND
I said that its not that I like Hillary, it is that I have more confidence in her that the other guys. Why? I don't know. Its just a feeling.

No, Mo, sorry to burst your bubble but I watch the debates, and I read newspapers, and I research. And, I'm a big pessimist about the political system because I think that the people in the shadows control everything anyway and everyone is related and shaking hands behind their backs and are all in cahoots. Paying attention and having opinions about their stances (not "promises", I never said anything about "promises")is basically for good measure, wishful thinking and just in case.

Frankly, with Hillary such a big DLC member and them being a big sketchfest, her being a part of the big-business circle jerk gets to me.

And I am not an Obama fan. But I am much more not a Hillary fan. My stance on issues matches more closely with Obamas and his record than with Hillary's. Edwards was the most genuine frontrunner for change. And Kucinich was my dream politician. I luuurrrve Kucinich. So don't say crap about me being an Obama fan, obviously you don't know much about me and my political opinions.
