What I have seen is a morality issue of a majority pushing to make it law to be forced on the minority. I personally don't care which way your door swings and mine would be my personal business. I take the same approach in all issues.

I have no right to tell another what they can or can't do with thier lifes, bodies, or beliefs. If pressed for my opinion I'll tell them what i'd do in the situation. If asked for advice, I will simply state that they must take responsibility for their actions.

That being said, I don't much care about same gender marriages. If they love each other enough that they want to be bonded for life, fine let em get married. Yes, there are cultures where homosexual activity is acceptable but they dont' marry. But that's not our culture. Our culture is full of bigotry encouraged by many differant factors. That word that many tend to forget in our constitution is Freedom. The amendment state.. "Freedom of" quite frequently, and there are many that take advantage of those freedoms to impose their beliefs on others.

Personally, all marriages should be regulated but not for the purpose of imposing christian ideals on non-christians.
