Well alright!
Finally the damn internet connection finally came back. Gotta love Charter and the apparent constant problem of fibre cuts. I called them around 4pm today and I talked to some customer service representative. She said there was an outage, but when I called back, the problem apparently hadn't been reported until 6:55pm. Oh well, at least it's back.
Anyway. I got the new Weird Al album in today, Straight Outta Lynwood. YAY!! I do love him... in a platonic way. I'm through most of the album as we speak and it hasn't disappointed. Granted, I'm not all that familiar with a lot of the music he is parodying, but that's ok, still good. The album is in a Dual-Disc format, so I'm not sure how I feel about that, but the 5.1 Dolby audio on the DVD side is pretty fantastic. Yeah, I have to listen to the album on my DVD player, but with my good sound system, it's a good trade and I get to watch some animated music videos for some of the songs. I can't wait to see him in concert again. The album is good, much like all his other albums, check it out.
