Fact: I have not been eaten by a bear

I have things to say and yet I haven't had a lot of interest in saying them. Some things, like the writer's strike, are just set to make me froth (am pro-WGA, obviously), and that's just not always fun (oh, studios, you love to torque me a lot). Fingers crossed the post-Thanksgiving meetings will be productive ( Read more... )

Could I put my hand up for some John and Braca? I wrote some for myself, but it's just not the same...if you know what I mean.

I'm hanging out to see Pushing Daisies. I've heard some great things about it.

Oooh! Thanks for that. John and Braca in my Christmas cracker!

PD isn't on our free-to-air over here, so I may have to wait until the DVD comes out. But, it's nice to know it's out there and I'll get to it eventually. Thanks for reinforcing all the good things I've heard about it.

Though, this last episode was not my most favorite of the year, despite the presence of Cathica, and yet, it sort of was awesome, too. I'm torn on it. Sort of. A bit. Maybe it was just the casual polygamy thing I couldn't get past and/or found off-putting, but then that might be my own problem and not the episode's

hee, that was actually the reason why it was my favorite. The light hearted look at polygamy was fun (a sharp contrast from Big Love which I *adore* with its angst-ridden polygamy) and I thought it worked well in a universe where there are dandelion powered cars and a place where retired windmills go when they're no longer needed.

heh, yay for the handy stuffs... I call that crick 'plumbers-neck' 'cuz the human body wasn't generally suited to stuffing into a sink base... last time I had my arms wrapped around the water supply line to re-tighten a leaky faucet, I got one frell of a charliehorse in my tricep and I couldn't move my arm enough to get it distangled... I toyed with the idea of ripping all the plumbing apart in a hulk!smash! enraged sort of way... but then I would have had to rebuild it all, so I calmed down.

watching John get the dren kicked out of him again, eh? I think that's never not going to be fun... for my money the show ages pretty well...
