Yippee!!
Our last guests have taken their leave. Breakfast's cleared and the dining room tidied. The guest rooms are cleaned, the beds stripped, and the washing done. One token bed has been made up, "just in case". The others, duvet folded at the bottom of the bed and pillows piled on top are in "winter mode" so they look farily neat if any curious out-of season guest should take a peek. The shutters are closed, door bolted, and now we're officially into downtime. It's two whole months before we have any more guests. Bliss!
And my
omniocular challenge fic, which exists at the moment only as scribbled notes made late at night needs to be finished on Saturday. Eeek!
So that's me sorted for the next couple of days. Hubby's off fishing tomorrow so I intend to get my head down and get on with it. It'll be a very nice change from endless ironing.
