I detest suburbs
I used to suspect that I was not fond of suburbs, but now I know for sure.
Hygienic pads? Oh, none sold at the (expensive, dammit) hotel. You have to drive to get to the nearest pharmacy -- easy, if you have a car. Without a car, it's a 1 mile treck alongside of and across highways. And back. About 50% of the route has sidewalks.
Grrreat.
Oh, and all the politicians lamenting about US gas dependence? Build the fucking infrastructure that wouldn't depend on cars, and you may just find you've got what you need.
