Bad Week
Found out why Grundy was being so sweet and affectionate. Poor thing's gone into heat. She would have been fixed when knghtsky brought her to the vet the first day, but what with her being underweight and having intestinal parasites we were told it should wait until she was fully healthy. So now we get the horny kitty serenade in the middle of the night, and she tries to dart out the door every time we enter or leave. It has had the side effect of making her nonaggressive towards Pearls, a serious 180 from her earlier attitude towards my spoiled rotten cat. So now we don't have to keep them segregated from eachother anymore, which is one of those "thank goodness for small favors" things.
I also came down with a severe case of intestinal distress today, along with the roomie. I'm blaming the McDonalds he picked up for breakfast. Ugh. So I'm even more short on work hours this week, which displeases me greatly. It also prevented me from going out to dinner with Kelly Nine, and I hope it doesn't interfere in my going out for a long-delayed birthday dinner with Sam tomorrow.
At least the damn bathroom ceiling stopped leaking. I was getting tired of coming home to a flooded floor.
