i began a new routine a month ago, and now i can safely say monday mornings, at the crack of dawn, that's my favorite part of the week. i like leaving the house knowing everybody else is still asleep; this is my time for myself, this is when i do yoga.
there's nothing like being in the hot room, which isn't as hot as it can be during the rest of the day, as early as six thirty in the morning, doing bikram yoga first thing. this is when i get to have breakthroughs. this morning, my teacher fixed my triangle. she taught me how to space my legs apart to achieve my perfect stance for my body. isn't it amazing that i've been doing this yoga give or take 6 years now, and there are still things i have to learn? an inch of adjustment is such a small negligible thing in everyday life, but in the hot room it becomes a breakthrough, and the thrill that comes with it gets me going for the rest of the week.
