HUGEASS WEEKEND

Seriously, I get a message on Thursday night from Liam. "Hey, we're thinking about coming for the for weekend. And by weekend, I mean tonight."

Alright then!

So they showed up and our living room suddenly housed 2 lcd monitors, a crt TV, 3 more Xboxes, and even more alcohol.

We even managed to get out to the waterfront yesterday morning. There was a Mime. A little one, but it was a mime. EVIL and vile thing was making fun of the Michel Jackson dancer, who in contrast was also quite good. Ok, he was pretty damn good. I thought so at least. lol

So I'll start at the beginning. For a change.

So Liam says he'll show up thursday night, and I run around trying to get some stuff in order and sure enough he shows up when I'm in the bathroom. Because that's apparently how things work lol So yeah, I run out into the street to meet him. At this point I'm still a little anxious. Shit's happened between Liam and I, I really wasn't sure how I'd feel when I saw him. (Also as a sidenote, I need to type these up more often because I'm WAY out of typing practice. Typos everywhere)

Anyway, he got out of the car and things were good. Granted, it dredged up a lot of memories, but it mostly felt like Ste Annes again. Mostly. Ste Annes if I was horribly depressed and raging every two second, but I did that a few times there so hey!

Yeah, we mostly just chilled and talked. Times were good and info was exchanged. Turns out he's not working this summer, just going to more school. He's also planning on biking back there this summer. THAT's gonna be intense. I told him to come back here for endurance training. Halifax has shitload of hills. Mmmm. Yeah, good to kicking your ass.

Anyway, so the games started. Turns out Fable 2 is pretty damn cool. I'd get it but I'm broke. There was also a need for pizza and donairs! Tony's was open for barely another hour when we got there. Now, I figured for a Thursday night we'd be mostly alone in there. Yeah no. It was fairly busy, with no shortage of lovely young ladies. Yum Yum. Not that I could ever approach them. Yaaaaarrrrr!!!! /Self Rage.

Moving along, Stephen shows up a few hours later. And thus ODST Firefight was played. Holy fraccing rapestick. Seriously, we owned the shit out of Lost Platoon.

We also forewent sleep. Which lead to Cora's at 06:18. Tasty breakfast.

Anyway, we all kinda passed out after that for like 8 hours. Then we went to the Japanese place next to Cora's for lunch/supper. SO. GOOD. I love Japanese food. It's just tasty.

AFter that we went exploring around the city, but not for long as we needed the final member of our party....MATT! The recently engaged. Good for him :D

So after that drive and finding him (And getting made fun of by his Mom again lol) we went ot the Keg for supper.

Oh. My. Gentle. Jesus.

I just.

The Keg is amazing.

So Saturday was gaming and more Halifax exploring! I found a HUGEASS amount of rare Paladium books. And cheap. It was pure luck, but I walked away with Robotech RPG Book 8, Robotech Adventure Book Accelerated Training Manual, Macross II core book, Macross II sourcebook, Rifts 11: Coalition War Campaign, Robotech RPG Book 2: RDF Manual, Robotech adventure book Zentredi Breakout, and Robotech adventure book Ghost ship.

The Coalition War Campaign book isn't rare, but still a good book.

AFter that we ate at a different Japanese place. New food update? I love Soba noodles. And Asahi beer is super good.

We pretty much just gamed for the rest of the night until I started passing out during the match. *Facepalm* Uncool body, just uncool.

Which bring us up until now. They left 2 hours ago and honestly the place is already mostly clean :D
