Nathan flipped through the papers again. It seemed too much to take in that his whole marriage was reduced to this stack of papers.
He and Michelle both had legal backgrounds, do they decided it would be best to handle the divorce themselves. Unfortunately, her definition of handling it had been to seen him memos or emails instead of actually talking to him. He had tried calling her several times to discuss certain things, but she had caller id and refused to answer her phone.
Nathan sighed deeply. This was probably the last set of papers, because it included the final thing he needed to sign to end the marriage. All she wanted was for him to sign them this weekend, and the marriage would be over. Nathan wasn’t really sure if that is what he wanted though. He took another deep sigh, and picked up a pen. She would make his life hell if he didn’t do it. He signed his name quickly and dropped the papers to the floor. He brushed a tear from his eye, and dropped the papers to the floor.
Since she wanted this so bad, she would get it, but he wasn’t going to send her the papers till the last possible second this weekend.
