ok, I'm going to stop screaming and ranting about this bullshit fucking election that had to have been tampered with for Bush to actually win the fucking popular vote. It's well known I disagree with/despise/loathe George Dubya Bush, but what I don't understand are people who actually voted for him.

If I'd have read this post sooner I'd have put a wedding proposal in the mail weeks ago. Couldn't agree more, ESPECIALLY about the "down home honest folk" line people around here always stammer when our arguments come to an impass. I usually just smile wryly and say "Gee. You mean your daddy can get you into Yale with a 2.1 too"? How "normal" is a society that fails to make these sort of connections about the people we all too willingly put in office. Make horrible decisions, but for the love of god, make them with a modicum of education for fucks sake! Eh, I'm getting off my soapbox now. Did I mention you astound me? Well, take it to heart.
