I intended, you know, to rec several things, but was blown away by Chapter 198 being out on onemanga (faster-than-ever) (available for download here), too.
I don't think there's ever been a chapter with so many of my favourite people in it.

So I'm not gonna say wow, but WOW.
Okay, fine, putting Spanner and Shouichi (Shou-chan it's been ages I'M SO HAPPY TO SEE YOU AGAIN) in the same chapter will do that.
Oh, Shou-chan, ruthless looks so good on you. Especially if one is capable of construing it as an epic attack of vengeful jealousy. *laughs at* IT'S OKAY, SHOU-CHAN. TSUNA WILL SHARE. ♥
I want, so badly, to put this out of the cut, but I CAN'T:
clearly when I talk about Tsuna and that, you know, weeaboointheworkshop.

I love. THAT SHOT. Of Tsuna's determined mouth. I think the past few chapters, from Gokudera's fight onwards, have only proved, for stupid reasons, that Tsuna above all others is my favourite: the kind of character that IN MY EYES CAN DO NO WRONG. This is chiefly because he fulfills the criteria of:
1. Small
2. Cute
AND MOST IMPORTANTLY
3. STUPID of the endearing variety
that I love so much. But, Tsuna. And I love watching him grow and develop and change and run away and shriek and panic and then GET HIMSELF TOGETHER AND COME BACK TO KICK ASS. ♥
Also, you CAN'T BUY THIS KIND OF PRICELESS, MAN. Oh Tsuna how you've grown - *happy tears* (I am spectacularly weak to Tsuna-in-ACTION shots, so...)
Oh, Spanner. We all knew this was coming, but oh. The most unorthodox and unexpected teacher ever. It's so wonderful to actually see it in the manga, in real panels that make canon.
In which the Rain Guardians talk like innuendo was never invented.
Oh, Yamakkun. Not only has the ten-year arc made you look increasingly like a complete pervert (please see first Yama panel here), but lines like, "I saw you on Squalo's DVD" makes it sound like you're a complete Varia video voyeur. *DIES*
Oh, poor Genkishi. Having to humiliate yourself for Squalo.
... I AM SO SORRY GENKISHI, BUT WHEN I FIRST SET EYES ON YOU: I thought you were a woman. And I thought it was pretty awesome that there was a Mist Swordsman who was, you know, a representative of the other sex!
... AHAHAHAHA. ANYWAY. Despite now knowing better, Genkishi still makes me think Girl. YES YES despite the PHANTOM KNIGHT moniker. (If any of you read The Dresden Files, I imagine Marcone's personal Valkyrie, Gard, to look a little like this - same manner)
... ohgod. Calling the Genkishi/Yamamoto now. THAT IS ALL. HELL, BRING ON THE RAIN GUARDIAN THREESOME AND THE Yamamoto/Squalo/Genkishi. Oh come on, with all the self-imposed bondage HE'S ASKING FOR IT.
