It is a strange occurrence to awaken in a place entirely unfamiliar to the memory.  And it is even stranger when one finds that the memory does not even recognize one’s own self.  I am named Ledah.  Of that I am certain.  I would say it was comforting to have that much, at least, but in truth, I find a name to be of little consequence.

You are not the first person to arrive here with wings, though you are in the minority.

Hmm. Somehow, I'm not surprised.
And, pray tell, where exactly is here? You speak as if people drop in out of the sky on a regular basis.

We're not sure if they drop out of the sky, but they certainly seem to. This place is called Memento Eden- its inhabitants arrive here, like yourself, without memories.

. . . Do you speak in jest? If so, it is not a very amusing joke. I hardly know how to respond.
May I inquire as to what these people do when they arrive?

I assure you, I am not a joking sort of man.

There is a town. People take jobs, start up their lives again. The memories come back gradually, but there are... complications.

Complications? Do monsters roam this land? Are there young waifs in need of saving?

While some are in need of psychiatric aid, I'm afraid not. The island possesses a... magic, of sorts. Things happen. People switch personalities, become children or animals. Nobody can explain or predict the phenomenon. Things just... happen.

. . . This does not bode well. I would have preferred the fighting. You say to regain our memories . . . we are subject to spontaneous changes to the cores of our being at any time?

Indeed. It's a dire predicament with which many are unhappy. Unfortunately, there are none on which to vent our displeasure besides the young mayor, Ari, who is exceedingly difficult to locate.

I am . . . displeased.

Ari? Is this person also a victim of these strange occurrences?

We're all displeased.

No. I'm afraid nobody knows much about her. ...Not even me.

You? Are -- Ahh, I am afraid my manners were almost lost as well; my apologies. Allow me to introduce myself, or what little there is left of me. I am named Ledah.

I am Albert Wesker. If your wounds do require healing, you should head to the local church. We are possessed of powerful healers capable of raising the dead.

Raising the dead? And yet the church is dedicated to no god, I hear. I am curious as to what the healers believe to be the source of their power.
