so! last night ended up being pretty fun! and..not..at the same time o.0 lol
me and jessie got off work, ran to city market, and got a cake..then went to sandra's! (after being lost for a bit...) Sandra hands us both a beer and we chat for a bit. a bit later we are laughing more and sandra gets this grand plan for us to go to the bar and have long island ice teas. lol which is fab except i dont have ID -and- well, im only 20. lol
we went in and i tried to explain to the barkeep that i had nothing but that chic over there was my boss and.. except he cut me very short sayin "there are 3 state patrollers and one fbi agent in here -right now-, there is nothing i can do." i was like oh! nvm! :D
lol so we just sorta hung out long enough for sandra, jess, and sandra's husband to finish their drink and then we left.
-that's- when sandra said 'here, you need to drive, those cops are watching us!' o.0
oy....lol their car was this real sexy dodge charger yummmm... lol but did we go straight home? no. we went to sandra's moms house, then i had to chase Nathan down (sandras hubby). he got mad and started walking >.< so then we go home. but sandra and nathan are fighting which stressed me out (along with the whole, OMG im driving thing) so i did a few rolling stops >.< lol which they will not laughing about. dude, it was on the backstreets here, they were stop signs...and no one was around! anyway, nvm...
then sandra tried making me a drink with henessey (sp) and diet pepsi [BLEH!] so i just had a glass of it straight. this is when we started cooking! YUM! have i mentioned that i spoke more spanish than i ever cared to in one night? lol >.<
anyway there was steak and hot dogs, tortillas and this yummy rice with corn and cilantro. :D gooood stuff. heh and a couple things of salsa..one being ONLY jalapenos and olive oil (looked like guacamole) yeah...didnt like that too much... hahaha they got a good laugh outta feeding that to me though.
sad thing is that i kept talking to nathan because i thought he was really cool. then he is cooking hot dogs and makes innuendo out of it -.- sad day. lol jessie caught on to it too, which was cool cuz it gave me someone to confide in heh. then it got worse when i went in with one and took a big bite out of it and it had molten cheese in the middle!! lol i was like 'ah! it squirted in my mouth!' jessie laughed and nathan walked in and was like ' heh...well..' *rolls eyes* lol
then we brought out the cake and sang happy b-day and then smeard frosting all over sandra! lol i also got jess and sandra's son. :D
then nathan remembered that i had mentioned tequila earlier in the bar. so here comes the tequila. lol first shot: i licked the salt from my hand, slammed the shot, swallowed fast, and then bit into the lime. He was quick to point out that i did it wrong. i actually needed to ask sandra for some help translating cuz he confused me... the issue was that i swallowed the tequila! :o second shot: first off he put even more tequila in this tall shot glass... but i licked the salt, take the drink into my mouth (it nearly filled my mouth0, then tipped back and bit into the lime and 'tasted it' as was instructed. oy! then i swallowed as quick as possible. the experience nearly made me go cross eyed. lol
then they were pushing jess to have one and she didnt want to and they wouldnt lay off so i volunteered, of course. same as the last shot, plus some acting (i swallowed sooner, but acted as if i hadnt).
fun stuff. then sandra's son drove me and jess home, very nice boy. anyway so that was that! so it was fun, with some un-fun bits, ya know? and yes, i just woke up, and no, no hangover ^^
