In the trenches
Yea so I've been working my ass off to stay ahead of the stress that can and will most definitely accumulate with all the finals and projects. This portfolio has been my concentration since saturday night and I've written up an butt load of good material, now all I gotta do is think of a really radical way to present it. My ideas are iffy at best so far, but I havent really put much thought into them. Our studio project has been on the side: we've got a second prototype on the way, format and details on the slides for the presenation (ah fuck :( it just started raining), and Juliene is gonna do the mold for the final product today. My week is nuts up ahead with 85% of everything being due within 3 days. This is what I mean:
Wednesday May 4th: Studio 6 presentation 1-4 (not mine but I NEED to go to this), Room picks at the house and my last and only night of actually relaxation (hopefully).
Thursday May 5th: House elections and longest house meeting of the year, going for secretary, historian, an ass't social.
Friday May 6th: The Massive Studio Portfolio due at 4, Studio Peer and Self Evaluation for the semester due at 4.
(o and now finals week begins)
Monday May 9th: Intro to Engineering Analysis Final at 8am; Design, Culture and Society final project due at 5.
Tuesday May 10th: Studio Final Project Presenation at 12-3
Friday the 13th: Calculus 2 Final at 12-3, catch my flight at 6 to go back home for the summer....yessssssss
Somewhere between Tuesday and Friday I'll pack my stuff for back home and move everything not being taken back home into my room at the house.
Countdown: 10 days til freedom and warm weather
