Girls...
Alright, so I pulled something really cool out of my ass on Friday:
It's the afternoon, I'm done classes for the day and I'm on my way to John's dorm to just chill with him. As I'm walking I spot a group of 3 girls in the circle by commons chit chatting. One of them is in my calc lecture and sits 2 rows in front of me. Personally, I think she's quite the cutie. My first instinct is to get her to notice me without making an ass out of myself, so I go with it. It's Friday, I'm in a good mood, why not be daring? So I grab a flower off of a plant on the side and place it on her shoulder as I walk by saying "This is for you". She glances at it and turns her eyes towards me while I stroll away. I hear her friends coo "awww how sweet" and I glance back as I walk away. She calls out "what's your name??" I respond with "Jeff" and turn back around and leave it shrouded in mystery for her to ponder.
That, my friends, is something that confidence and a good mood will amount to. It was so spontaneous and natural: I wish I could do that more often. "You always gotta leave them wanting more" - The Girl Next Door. I guess that's what I did, even though I didn't initially think of it. Maybe I'll see her around campus this weekend or before calc lecture on Tuesday, which she better come to. I'll converse with her there and try not to make a fool of myself. After talking with a friend (who shall remain nameless) I found out her name...Alicia. It is near the end of the semester and finals are on everyones mind, but who knows? This could be the start of something unique. If not, I'm proud of myself for actually doing that :) Jody gave me the rock for that one haha
Funny thing, I started writing this and was gonna end it with a depressing note of how I really want someone to hold and miss it. Now that feeling's gone and I can get back to concentrating on my portfolio. The more work I get done on it now, the more time I have to get to know Alicia.
That's my motivation! :P
