A required reading for studio

Apr 21, 2005 23:45

We were asked to read some of "The Innovation Paradox" by Richard Farson and Ralph Keyes for studio tomorrow. The book is all about failure, and how it's a good thing. Wait, did he say a good thing? Yep, "The success of failure is the failure of success". It's all about how we need to take risks and not be afraid of failure. You make a mistake, so what? Get up and go at it again, learn from it. In the end, its the ones that don't take risks that work for the ones that do. Think about it, or better yet: buy the book! Actually if you really are interested or just bored, I can give you a link with most of the material so you don't have to spend $10 on this 200 page whippersnapper. Well, that's all I've got for now.

Keep your chins up,

Jeff
