Being a fan of both Cosplay and Photography, this is very attractive to me.

One of my rare opportunities to attend happened this year, with it being two weeks before Pennsic. Leaving the Bear at my parents place and having a weekend mostly to ourselves is something we needed.

Rather than a blow-by-blow account, I'll just summarize what we did, since it is mostly a short list.

On my NY trip I damaged my 18-55mm zoom. Part of the sensor got pushed in and afterwards the camera wouldn't recognise it. I just got around to getting it to Penn Camera for them to look at it. Unfortunately, they want $150 to fix it. Even tho the damage seems to be external to my eyes, they apparently need to disassemble the whole lens to fix ( Read more... )
