Last weekend was kinda like having multiples.
I just spent a whole weekend chilling with a friend I hadn't seen in 4 years. "Holy shit awesome!" was bloody well right. I hadn't seen, and sadly, barely communicated with, Jenn Tatti since I graduated high school. Thanks to the Social Stalking utility known as Facebook, we had a brief talk resulting in a plot to hang out before we leave Ocala. We're both sick and didn't do anything too flash like curbstomping infants(the urge WAS there) but we had a great time anyway. We really just sat on our asses watching movies, reviewing old pictures and exchanging music all Friday, Saturday, & Sunday and it ruled. We discovered a mutually profound love for Drop Dead Fred, the word "poop", & downtempo ambient music which excites me more than anybody else understands. Jenn...is...AWEsome! Considering how much we saw of each other back in the day, you really think we would've known a little more about each other than we apparently did. Anyway, my mind is still fried, yet still buzzing with merriment and joyness.
This is my last week at work, hopefully the last of 3rd shift I'll ever see. 4 nights.
I'm pretty sure I'll be making a trip to Tally this weekend to drop off some of my shit. I'll probably roll up there Sunday morning to hopefully make it in time to see Terror. They're quite swell. Monday I'll be heading down to Lake Placid to see my family for a couple days before I ride over to Hollywood Wednesday for Stone Temple Pilots. After that, it's back to Tallahassee with another car load of shit to move in to the new place with Houston.
I haven't used this Livejournal thing in almost a year. Who's still out there?
I need to sleep. 6 hours total this weekend has my temperature changing more than Florida's weather patterns. o_0
