okay.
to make up for that last bitchy entry, i'll tell you guys all the great parts about my break. i mean you deserve to hear it, especially since i haven't posted in like . . 2 months.
i guess you could say it started with christmas day. i was surprised as to how much we were all acting like a family together that day really. but i liked it. i got a lot of really great stuff . . like . . .
- a set of nine different *delicious* flavored teas
- some new winter clothes [2 sweaters, 1 long sleaved top, and a pair of camel brown corduroy pants]
- a BUNCH of music from my sister, as in 300 something songs
- oh yes and a kings of convenience cd from her as well :)
- eddie izzard: dress to kill dvd
- the book Diary by Chuck Palahniuk
- an audrey hepburn calendar
- 400 min worth of phone cards
- 4 new issues of ELLE
but then kate was starting to look upset bc there was still a lot of gifts under the tree, but only one left for her. well we gave it to her and there turned out to be an *assload* of stuff in there, so she didn't seem to feel so bad anymore, which made me glad. the rest of that day, we all just kinda chilled out listening to our new music and ate a *bunch* of food.
the next day we went to world market and then headed over to wynsong to see narnia. and let me tell you ladies . . that mr. tumness . . . . mmmmm he's niiice ;D and of course the rest of the movie was great. the ice queen was really pretty. i liked it :)
the following day was pretty chill. didn't really go anywhere. but i will say kate and i got *ass* drunk that night. as in i fell off the bed drunk. we couldn't stop laughing the whole night. and we were loud. i was surprised we didn't wake our parents up. but i think we were both drunker than we thought. we got something to eat later on and went to bed. well i woke up about 2 hrs later running to the bathroom. first time i've barfed from drinking.
but the next day was *really* fun! me and kate went undies shopping and were both quite successful! it's nice to have a bra that fits you right again lol. but anyway, after our undies run at the mall we to cha-da thai with mom and dad. oh man i *love* that place. their food, is *so* good. they never fail to please me. after indulging ourselves on thai food, we went home and me and kate baked thumb print marmalade cookies. and might i say, they turned out marvelous!
yesterday kate left. and not much has happened since then, but im looking forward to spending my new years with erin and then going with her to elon for a few days to visit. once i leave, i'll be going straight to richmond to stay with my friends andrew and jake for a week until the dorms open and then i go back to classes.
oh! and it looks like i just might have a job this semester which is way uber exciting! as a tour guide for the school of the arts :D yay for me!
