Good old Eurovision.
I completely forgot to make a post about it this year. I didn't listen to the songs until last week. Clearly the enthusiasm isn't there right now.
But Iceland made it through the semi-final (and Belgium! How about that!) Performing last with a dance song so solid it could shatter a diamond there was no way we wouldn't.
Twitter was awash with the same joke told over and over: "OMG Iceland sent the volcano!" Almost rivals the wit of "ash instead of cash".
My favorite, Estonia, didn't make it through but I knew it wouldn't. It's not a song for the masses. Still say it was the most original song in the competition.
Also - Germany will win on Saturday.
