camping trip?
so. i just signed myself up for three days of hell.
my aunt came over our house, after dropping the girls off at girlscouts.. and was complaining that my cousins had a camping trip over the weekend for brownies.. and they weren't allowing Cora to go without a chaperone (because of her seizures) which meant my aunt had to spend the weekend with them. since she already told the girls they could go, she wasn't going to cancel on my cousins. SOOooo before thinking, claire opens her big mouth and says "i would go with them to watch cora."
and then i immediately mentally kick myself in the ass.
my aunts face lights up and says "woooooullldd yooou?!?!!!"
"..uhhh"
"but of course, i would have to check and see if it's okay you can go"
phew. "oh, okay."
two hours later she shows up with a 'packing list' that includes
water bottle for hiking
sleeping bag
winter jacket and snow pants
sneakers
poncho
bandana
three pairs of underwear. thanks for the heads up.
Friday 4:15pm to Sunday 11:45pm
which is 43 hours and 30 minutes spent with 20 girlscouts under the age of 12, approximate.
