Doujinshi Pick-Up Service: Comic City 75 and Gijinka Kingdom (Osaka)

Jun 15, 2009 09:27

Hello hello! Two events are coming up this weekend that are definitely worth waiting for. Comic City 75 is a 6,000 space general convention, but the Osaka events always feature smaller, less-prolific circles and lots of booths selling swag and other goodies.

And right next to Comic City is the fabulous Gijinka Kingdom--1,123 Hetalia circles and ( Read more... )

We'll probably get to you with a list later this week. Unfortunately, it will not be quite as massive as our last one, as we're far poorer this time around. XD

I did want to check and see if you'd bid on or won either of those auctions we'd requested? It's no rush, as I know you're backed up, but we're just curious here. Thanks a lot!

Adding our 6/21 requests on here. Can you please pick up Orange's Welcome and this anthology IF we didn't win the lot with them off Y!Japan? If we did win that lot, then all we need is the following:

1) Hoshitamago's RPG-themed book.

2) B*mpoc's France/Canada book (Tournez a cette place) and US/UK book (BuzzStyle)

3) AmaOh's two newer books, Restraint and Thought to hide.

Thanks again!

Oh yeah, and shipping via EMS.

Got It! A Gijinka Kingdom Update.... the_little_nook June 25 2009, 05:38:15 UTC
Heya guys, and so sorry to keep you waiting! I was actually able to win one of two auctions for you and IMO this was the best choice of the two, because this auction came with an adorable pair of US/UK chopsticks. And I'll bet more than anything they'll become a fairly valuable collector's item in time ( ... )

Just paid for it!

And yes, that's part of why we were so excited about that lot- the chopsticks!

Also, just to let you know that the three of us are highly amused that we are now being dubbed "Team US/UK."

...then again, our box of US/UK doujinshi is so full thanks to you.

Thanks again so much!

Awww, and you know I'm glad to keep filling your doujinshi box with good stuff!--and the chopsticks are unique enough that they're worth waiting for. ^_^

I sent the packaging information to the email addy listed with your Paypal account...thanks again and if there's anything I can help you three find in the future please let me know! *waves*

Haha, and it's so full. I think I might need a new box soon!

And- I just got the package today! Thanks so much! We were very excited to get a lot of these titles (and those chopsticks, of course!)

Anyways, will you be putting up your "online store" soon or should I just route any new requests through your website?

Thanks again!

WOO HOO! the_little_nook July 2 2009, 03:32:36 UTC
You guys are more than welcome, and I'm glad to hear everything reached you safely.

I'm planning on putting my store back online, but only after I've caught up on all backorders and everything's running smoothly, which might take a couple of weeks. If you have any requests for--well anything!--just send them to the email addy listed in my profile and we can work something out.

And thanks to you for being so fun to work with...and don't be strangers, all right? I always enjoy hearing from you guys! ^_^

Hello, my name's Alicia, nice to meetcha! And I'm guessing you're the third member of "Team US/UK", correct? I really enjoy hearing from you guys, because you always have interesting requests. *smiles*

Actually, I was able to win one of your auctions, and I've got a Gijinka Kingdom summary for you under abarero's comment. My apologies for taking a little longer to get back to you--I'm anticipating that as the comm's assistant mods become more comfortable in LJ-land that this will be less of a problem in the future.

It was nice to hear from you and don't be a stranger, all right? *waves cheerfully*
