So I've just been hooked up to a heart rate monitor. I want to make my feelings on this very clear: I FUCKING HATE IT! And I haven't even had it on for 5 minutes.
For one thing, she had to start off by taking this little white thing, not unlike the wire scrub used to get hardened food off of plates, to my skin and scrub HARD, to remove A LAYER OF MY SKIN for "good contact". No, that was a very BAD contact.
And the things attached to me itch like all hell. I want to tear them off so bad.
And then there's the fact that I look like a huge loser since wires are poking out of my sweater and the monitoring box hangs past the end of my shirt.
I have to write two exams with this thing on. FUCK!
7 minutes down, 23 hours and 53 minutes to go!
