They'll notice things like everyone being a white guy or dated racial caricatures and go "wtf, this isn't how things work". They also know when they're being talked down to. They've got their own way of seeing things that hasn't been mucked up by all the stuff they'll encounter as an adult and it's always a surprise because you get so used to seeing the world through adult politics and concerns and motives and I'm starting to rant now aren't I but I think it's neat. This is what makes Bill Watterson so great, he seems to have the rare ability to see the world from both perspectives while most people have only the one.
