[ In an empty chemistry classroom located in one of the quiet(er) parts of the school building, Esther can be found working on an extra credit paper for English. She preferred using an empty classroom to the library since it was often more peaceful, and in the science rooms she had more space to organize her materials and really get to work. All her papers are spread out on the large black work table in neat piles: finished work, notes she needs for this assignment, notes she plans on going over one more time, the obligatory 'to do' list...
Then there are the various text books and worn notebooks.
Esther has already been here for a good three hours, and it's obvious she's already tired: she keeps reading the same passage over and over, wanting to finish 'just a little bit more' before calling it a night. But she can barely focus, and it's almost 10:30, and there's a test tomorrow, and the paper can wait another day, right? It wasn't due for another couple days, so it could...
...But Esther really should finish the outline. ]
