Progress!
I sewed today! Like, a lot! theladysarah had the brilliant idea to have a sewing/movie night tonight, and with her here, I actually stayed focused and sewed all the way through Death at a Funeral and Love Actually!
I was on step one of my dad's vest. Now I'm on step 9 (out of 13)! So hopefully, if I can just stick with this good progress, I can finish it by the 30th. Here's some picture proof:
It was really the welted pockets that took forever. But the pattern, though it seemed confusing as I was doing it, actually successfully walked me through making welted pockets for the first time ever. This is the new Laughing Moon pattern, by the way.
