Greetings, Eljay! I have babbleage.....
My nephew will be 3 months old tomorrow. He's started teething, he's holding his head up, he's trying to get up on his hands/knees to crawl, he conducts the orchestra that plays on his mobile, he's engrossed by the pretty colors on the television, he likes saying 'agooo', he likes to have his feet zubbered and in his baby sign language he has informed my sister that he's planning on hijacking a plane and will be taking it to Fresno. I love my nephew.
Over the weekend two movies were viewed....Zodiac and Reno 911: Miami. Both were about police investigations and yet Zodiac had far less people masturbating. I highly recommend them both though, whether you enjoy masturbating or not. *two thumbs up*
One of the previews before Reno was The Simpsons Movie. It seems The Boys part goes by even faster on the big screen!
Hit the Land o' D Saturday night (after Zodiac). We got there toward the tail end of the evening so we didn't do a whole lot, but we did get to ride the Winnie the Pooh ride twice. Score! ;)
Before Disneyland and the movie Saturday we braved the lines and went into Build A Bear. *note to self: don't do that again* My friend picked up a lamb which she proceeded to dress in a leather jacket and assless chaps. Whether or not I suggested the assless chaps will forever remain between my sis and the above mentioned friend. I purchased a Cat in the Hat in honor of Dr. Suess' birthday. No, I did not dress him up in anything.
Speaking of Dr. Suess, last Wednesday I participated in a Read-in at a local elementary school. I got to read, My Many Colored Days by Dr. Suess to 17 four-year-olds. I'm really glad it was a short book. Pink was the favorite color of the class.
After much much much deliberation, I have decided to look for a different job. For just about 19 years I have worked for the same organization. For the most part it has been a blast and I've loved working with the people I work with. Alas, for the past few years it has pretty much sucked. There has been so much backstabbing, shit disturbing, politics and plain straight out lying that I just can't take it anymore. I have lost complete faith and trust in everyone I have dealt with, people who I thought I knew and knew me. It's been quite sad. I probably should've left about 3 years ago, but I hung in, mostly because I was asked to. I can't 'hang in' anymore. *sigh*
On a much lighter note, in my travels last night through the magical www, I came across another Green Day concert. This one is from 1998, in Buenos Aires.
