Okay, so...I'm unemployed and a bit bored, so I've been playing DDR...like a lot. I've been using a heart rate monitor and calculating the calories I've been burning and working towards some goals. I've filled up my white board, and I've decided that this would be a great place to transfer the data highlights to.
Goal #1: Burn 5,000 cal from 7/28-8/8 - Exceeded by 1,878 calories.
Goal #2: Burn 5,000 cal from 8/1-8/9 - Exceeded by 125 calories.
Goal #3: Burn 16,000 cal in the month of August - Awaiting results.
Goal #4: Burn 4,000 cal from 8/10-8/14 - Awaiting results.
Stats since 7/28:
Total calories burned: 7,787
Total time spent working out: 873 minutes, or 14.55 hours.
Calories burned per minute: 8.92
Time spent per day (including days off): 67.15 minutes
Yay for setting and attaining goals. We'll see how long I can keep this up...Getting a job would obviously interfere with 8 hours of DDR a week, but alas...such things are necessary evils.
