Wow, it's been a while and a lot has happened.
I went to graduation in May, which was bittersweet. There was a bit of a scare over whether or not Angelo would make it, but his plane finally arrived just hours before the ceremony. My dad ordered my class ring for me as a graduation gift, and it should be here in about two weeks.
I abruptly quit my job on July 2nd, without having another one lined up. At first I was terrified about whether or not I had made the right choice, but the nightmares kind of convinced me it was a good move. I'm currently looking to start a business, as well as putting out applications for instructional openings with Palm Beach County schools.
Angelo and I moved into a lovely remodeled 2/2 apartment on the 11th, and we're still settling in. Moving into a third floor apartment was hell. We're either hiring movers when we leave, or I'm just going to stay here until I die...
I'm expecting visitors in the form of a Christine and an Emma next week, and I'm insanely excited about that. I anticipate much wine drinking and food making and laughing.
That's pretty much it. I'm probably the most happy unemployed person in the world. I realize that it can't last forever, but I'm enjoying a sweet vacation. Angelo and I are going to see Tori Amos in Miami tonight, and I'm actually going to start preparing for that. It's good to see that you are all alive and well and still blogging. I will try to update more often and maybe throw some comments out there instead of lurking so much...
