Grimjack sketchbook returns
I recently added some new sketches to my ever growing sketchbook of the greatest comic character ever made, GRIMJACK! These were all drawn at this October's edition of the Nashville Comic and Horror Convention.
First up is by SWAT aka Scottie Watson from Dead Reckoning. I do admit that I had to play with this one with the wonders of GIMP to darken it up a bit because the pencil sketch was almost impossible to see.
The second one is by illustrator Gina Kirlew, who does a much more romantic take on the swashbuckling ole Grinner.
At last, but not least, is a sketch by artist Annie Erskine of Happy Doodle Studios. She plays up the fantasy elements of Grimjack by making him resemble an anime style Elvish warrior.
I am going to backdate an entry soon with all the sketches so far with links and such to the images. Turns out these posts actually get quite a bit of traffic over time.
