(no subject)
i'm coming home sept 5th though the 11th for my birthday. I expect all you legals to join me for a drink or 12. Everyone else? House party. Carmen and I are going to the beach the first few days but will be back in town for my birthday.
I'm glad I'm coming home instead of going to Vegas. I really, really absurdly miss the most basic things about home.
Things here are going okay. Carmen and I are great. We are actually on this really long span without a fight about something and it is strange and lovely. We're going shelling Saturday and to a Cinedom premiere at Cocktails and Cosmos. What's better than science? Science and drinks and dinosaurs.
I worked 40 hours last week and then 25 this weekend and 40 now. Tomorrow is my last day for two days and I couldn't be happier about that.
I haven't cut my hair since december. I don't know how much longer I can make it...
I know I've told some of you and a bunch of you I haven't and so I'll just tell it here. I'm getting married/committed/hitched. GASP! Yeah, yeah, I know what you are all thinking and everyone is entitled to their opinion. Regardless, I'm really happy right now and we're making long term plans and solidly committing and I love it. 08.08.08 is the date and it will be in Clearwater (near tampa bay) and it is open invitations and I really hope that some of you can make it (you can also go to disney and it will be a great combo trip) because it would be great to have you guys there.
We have thunderstorms here almost everyday. And torrential rain. And you should all download O.A.R.--most of their stuff is great.
