Fall Animes
Here is my fall anime list, revised:
DEFINITELY WATCHING: Tales of the Abyss
PROBABLY WATCHING: Shikabane Hime Aka, Yozakura Quartet, Michiko to Hatchin, To Aru Majutsu no Index
UNDECIDED: Ga Rei Zero, Chaos Head, Mouryou no Haku, Kuroshitsuji, Toradora!, Hyakko
DROPPING: Akane-Iro ni Somaru Saka, Casshern Sins
Alright. This season, I got bored of writing normal reviews. So this season, instead of reviews, you get a brief description of what would happen if you invited the fall season animes to a party.
Shikabane Hime Aka is hosting a Halloween party to show off her cool zombie costume.
Akane-Iro ni Somaru Saka couldn't come. She's busy with a lawsuit for plagerizing every romance novel ever written.
Ga Rei Zero and Chaos Head are engaged in mortal combat to see who is more confusing. This ends in a draw when they realize that they're actually the same fucking show.
Kuroshitsuji suffers from a split personality. He is alternately doing stand-up comedy and killing the audience members for not laughing at his stand-up comedy. Toradora! was one of the first victims because she refused to laugh; it's not clear why. Experts suggest she was too tsundere or Kuroshitsuji's jokes were lame, but the popular theory is that she just has no sense of humor.
Casshern Sins hit the bottle as soon as he arrived and has been brooding in a corner ever since. Apparently this is all just too serious for him.
Hyakko! is trying her best to make friends, but she's not a very good conversationalist; she keeps spacing out and losing her train of thought. In her coherent moments, she tries to convince people that she is not Azumanga Dai-Ou.
Yozakura Quartet and Tales of the Abyss have been flirting all night. Everyone thinks they're perfect for each other; they're both average and predictable enough that no one else wants to date them, but they're charming enough that everyone wants them to be happy. Shikabane Hime Aka does some clever hostessing and the couple end up alone in a bedroom later. Their child will be born next season in the form of yet another generic shonen series.
Shikabane Hime Aka almost forgot to invite To Aru Majutsu no Index because she's so quiet and nerdy. Then she showed up without glasses and in a stunning dress, much to everyone's surprise. She spends the night surrounded by a crowd of people, which is really overwhelming for her. When he's not busy flirting, Tales of the Abyss helps protect her from them like any good shonen hero would.
Nobody understands what Mouryou no Hako is talking about so she goes to drink with Casshern Sins after an hour of being ignored.
Michiko to Hatchin decided she was to cool for the party. She's at home right now, kicking it with a few beers and some vinyl records.
Also, someone get Ono Daisuke and Keiji Fujiwara to stop voicing guys in EVERYTHING I WATCH. It's freakin me out. D=
