I took a sketch book with me to comic con and basically went around getting as many artist to give me a sketch as I could afford (or who would for free, which a surprising number would do a doodle free of charge!)
My Character Theme for this con was Toro Raymond, and all I can say is THANK GOD I had a photo reference *L*

Art by Mark McHaley
Mark McHaley generously did this pencil sketch for me. I think of all the artists I saw at comic con, I was most blown away by his art and use of color. I got to see him working on a painting and just WHOA
Art by Nathan Fox

Nathan Fox drew this for me. I was stunned because he did it all with straight brush and ink on paper. No prep sketch. Again, great fun to watch!
Art by Bill Reinhold
Bill Reinhold did this one for me. I'm very impressed with the steady line. Again, very fun just to watch him draw.
Art by Melissa Uran
Melissa Uran did this sketch for me, and in thanks I bought her gorgeous Invader print (really no twist of my arm there). I knew her from the Invaders com. and it was great to get to meet her and watch her draw! Also she's the art assistant on the Supernatural Law comic, which makes her AMAZING!
Art by Phillip Moy
Got to see
Phillip Moy sketch this and it was great fun. He was really nice and fun to chat with as he drew.
Art by Colleen Coover
Colleen Cover had the CUTEST art. OMG, I was so happy to get this and I regret not buying the adorable Marvel Girl print she had. She was also delightfully sweet to talk with.
Art by Steve Epting
Ummm fangirl squee?
Steve Eptin sketched this for me and I don't have enough wonderful words to say about him. Also very nice to talk with once I got over the fan jitters. ^^
Art by Reilly Brown
I got
Reilly Brown to do this sketch for me and we chatted for a long while as he did it. I actually got a photo of him drawing. He was a great guy ^__^

OMG I do not have enough amazing things to say about
Steve Leialoha . He was beyond amazing and will get mention in my formal con write up. Just the nicest guy and the most amazing art.
Art by Cat Staggs
Cat Staggs sweetly took a few moments to do this sketch. I'm a huge fan of her art and it's cool to get a sketch from her. Didn't buy anything though as she is local and I'll get something at the next local con.
Art by JE Loranzo
JE Loranzo drew this cute little sketch. Got to chat about inking (which he does primarily) and that was very nice.
Art by John Watkins-Chow
John Watkins-chow sketched this gorgeous headshot of Toro and I was impressed watching him work. I'm also gleeful as his art his similar to mine, at least in terms of skritchy scratchy as my art teacher called it.
Art by Jack Katz
This was awesome! Comic legend
JAck Katz drew Toro for me. yes actual artist from the 40's drew Toro. I am happy. Not to mention he was a delightfully talkative man who was utterly gleeful about his newest book. He was one of the funnest artist to talk with.
Art by Bill Tucci
artist Billy Tucci who is currently awesome on Sgt Rock and known for Shi did this. I think this is one of my favorites.
Also, his WWII stuff, it rocks beyond words.
