I am at the end of a full fortnight off work, which has been nice, if less restful than I'd have hoped. I'm ill! I've been under the weather for about a week and a half and thought I was getting better, but on Sunday, after a nap, I awoke to find myself with the most excruciating ear ache that I think I've ever had. Lovefilm sent me Shoot Em Up today, and I've already watched it, so I can get it back in the post and get a new DVD arriving on my doormat on Friday morning. I love the fast turnaround. I've pulled a muscle in my left thigh, which means that I hurt myself more or less every time I move. I was also surprised to discover that thigh muscles are used in ways you wouldn't expect, like when urinating or farting. So there's really no fun to be had at all.
