my thoughts... positives and negatives..
+ it was good to see weezy, the brothers trio, mike, and others all having a good time in the same place again
- So, i have decided that i HATE seeing any sort of heavy music in this town. It is really kind of disheartening to see how truly lost alot of people really are. A lot of these guys's sole purpose in life is to wait for someone to knock the chip off of their shoulder so they can have a reason to fight someone. Why? to prove self worth? sad.... anyway
+ - i have mixed feelings about the allmighty ZAO's performance, i never thought it would come to this
a.) maybe im just a little bitter because "a fall farewell" just so happened to NOT make the set list tonight. unbelievable. There are also 2 more that i wanted to hear that werent played.
B.) the sound was better here, but the song selection was WAY better at cornerstone. Dan did alot better here though, his voice didnt go out, and he ;lost alot of weight. the new drummer would throw in cool stuff thats not on the c.d's, i liked that alot.
c.) The new stuff is awsome in my opinion.
D.) I will probably be crucified for saying this, but i was a little dissapointed this time around to be honest.
Or maybe we just caught them at a bad time by seeing them when they were trying to promote a new c.d. ah well, they are still one of my favs in the world.
No one else did, but i thought Scarlet rocked it. The way the singer handled those goons was priceless, althought a really good way to get yourself hurt really bad, still funny. I bet those guys cant wait to come back to houston ha .
