Chapter 14: Something's Not Right
As soon as she opened her eyes, Yoona wondered why she was in an interrogation room.
The last thing she remembered was that she was in her room, lying down.
How did she get all the way here?
“Hello? Is anybody there?” Yoona called out.
“Unnies? Seohyun?” She added.
No one responded to her call.
“Guys, your prank isn’t funny at all!” Yoona said, starting to get nervous.
Her heartbeat starting increasing by the minute.
Just when she was about stand up, she felt her hands handcuffed.
Yoona struggled to get her hands out of there.
Even though she had slim hands, she wasn’t elastic.
As soon as she felt that her hands weren’t going to get out of the cuffs any time soon, Yoona started hyperventilating.
She was in a current state of panic.
“HELP! HELP ME, PLEASE!” Yoona called out.
She repeated this phrase again and again, until she heard footsteps.
“You deserve being there, Yoona.” A female voice said.
As soon as Yoona turned she saw Taeyeon.
She was dressed in her black Run, Devil, Run attire for some reason.
“Unnie?” She wondered.
“Don’t you dare call me unnie!” Taeyeon said, slamming the table.
Yoona didn’t know what was happening.
Were her unnies pulling a prank on her?
“Actually, from now on.. You can’t call us “unnie” anymore.” Taeyeon added.
The “us” marked the entrance of 6 “Black SoShi” girls in the room.
They were staring down at Yoona.
Doing all the stuff mean girls would do in movies.
“Unnie..” Yoona said, starting to tear up.
“Didn’t Taeyeon just tell you to stop calling us, unnie?” Sunny said, slamming the table again.
At this, tears from Yoona’s eyes started overflowing.
She decided to look down as she cried.
“Awww.. Poor Im Yoona.” Soo Young teased.
The girls laughed with her.
“Ya! So Nyo Shi Dae! What have I done wrong?” Yoona shouted.
The moment Yoona shouted, the girls kept quiet.
“Do you really want to know what you did wrong?” Jessica said as she walked past the other 6 girls.
“You. Love. My. Boyfriend.”
“Yoona, Yoona ssi, wake up!” A deep male voice said, shaking Yoona.
As soon as Yoona opened her eyes, she saw Taecyeon.
“Oh my gosh.. This is so embarrassing.” Yoona said, wiping the tears that had fallen from eyes while she was asleep and immediately stood up.
She forgot that she was on set Family Outing 2.
“Have we starting filming?” Yoona asked, acting as if the dream she just had was nothing.
“Not yet. The other family members are still asleep.” Taecyeon said, looking at the direction of the cast, sleeping soundly.
It was only 6:30 in the morning.
“Yoona, uh, are you okay?” Taecyeon asked.
You could hear the hesitation in his voice.
You know, whether or not it was right to ask Yoona that kind of question.
“Yeah.. I’m okay. I just had a nightmare.” Yoona replied, tying her light brown hair into a ponytail.
“Oh.. Anyways, I’m so sorry about waking you up earlier then everyone else. When I heard you crying in your sleep, my intuition was telling me to do something.” Taecyeon said.
Yoona looked at him and smiled a little.
“Thanks for the concern, Taec.” Yoona said.
Taec.
As Yoona used his nickname, Taecyeon smiled.
She’s never called him “Taec” before. Usually it would be Taecyeon or Taecyeon ssi.
After months of FO2, has Yoona finally grown comfortable with Taecyeon?
A few hours later, the filming started.
Today’s episode for Family Outing 2 was all centered on teamwork.
The whole family, including Hee Chul, the new addition to the group, did some fun activities through out the whole day.
Usually, Yoona and Taecyeon would just have brief interactions during the filming, but today, there was something different about the way they acted.
Shin Bong Sun and Kim Won Hee, the “superior” females on the show, even noticed this.
They tried playing coy about their suspicions regarding “TaecYoon”, but as the day progressed, they couldn’t stop themselves from teasing the 2 idols to each other yet again.
Hee Chul definitely knew something was up during their family dinner.
The way Yoona signaled Taecyeon to seat beside her.
The way they laughed at their shared inside jokes.
The way they just interacted with each other was so.. different.
As soon as the cameras stopped rolling, Hee Chul excused himself from the table, got his phone out and dialed someone.
“Hello, Lee Teuk. Something’s not right.”
