I usually make it a habit to read the same web sites on a daily basis. Mac news, mac rumors, check my finances, and I like to try and stay up to date at least a little bit with current events. I usually read CNN.com and Google News because they are both pretty good digests of what's going on in different areas. You know, as opposed to Channel 10:
"So and so was killed today in a sledding acciedent, here's Largo Malendez live from the scene."
"And our insider exclusive tonight, Is Your Pet's Urine Causing Excessive Radon Leakage in Your Home? Find out more later this hour."
So I digress. CNN.com has been getting pretty annoying. In the same sense that Half Baked had the saying "There have to be forms just lying around, I mean they are scientists" I feel like telling CNN "People are going to just die in Iraq, I mean it is a war." And I don't mean to trivialize human life. But at some point there has to be the understanding that we just know shit over there is detonating regularly.
I sorta wish CNN.com would just have a little sub heading below their logo that said "Today in Iraq this blew up: *insert picture here*" And it just changed every day. And if nothing blew up they could put a nice rubber duck or something.
And break.
Got an illegal U-Turn ticket from a cop on broad street. I think I might plead not guilty and go to court. I haven't done that before but this was sorta a weird case. The sign (which i didn't see) was a "no left turn" sign. I didn't turn left, per se, I just was going in that direction momentarily as I turned around. :) Think the judge will buy it?
Today I'm off. Gotta mail in the ticket, go buy a shitload of sierra mist or pepsi. Win a few songs maybe. If you don't know what I'm talking about:
