Story of no importance

Aug 04, 2012 06:12

I've swam at night the past three days. I think it was last night that while I was on my way to the deep end I saw movement at the corner of the pool at the deep end so I turn my head to figure out if I have company and I did! A neighborhood cat had come to catch a drink from the pool. They didn't stay, in fact the wee one ran away as soon as I called out hello, but it's fun sometimes to not swim alone. Today some neighborhood kids came into the pool area but didn't swim. I was secretly happy because I didn't have to dodge children while doing laps, but I was a little sad because I wouldn't have been offended at all if I had to pack up. I feel like for a neighborhood with two pools neither are used enough.
