It's weird though how much credit I give my LJ friends. We are all SO fucking busy. All of us. Kids, no kids. I mean you just got Moo and dogs are such almost children. I'm not saying in that psychotic dress your animal up sort of way (I miss buying my dog sweaters-don't judge!) but that most dogs are said to be almost on the same level as two year olds. You basically just got a toddler. That's so intense and awesome.
Yet, the people in real life who are like, "Oh, I haven't seen you in forever!"
You know, I just had kids. And a major surgery to get them here. And one of the worst pregnancies ever. And still managed to call people and try to be supportive of other burlesque performers. Oh, and had a cell phone the entire time.
SO WHERE THE FUCK WERE YOU PERSON WHO LIVES LESS THAN 30 MINUTES AWAY FROM ME?!
Oh, but don't worry about it, the person who totally lives out of state and has a real fucking life can keep up with me. No worries. We're totally cool local asshole person /eyeroll.
So, sure, I'm a shit friend but it kills me how shitty people are.
i had to bail on a friends kids bday party because i didnt get my request for the day in in time. when i called her to apologize, she mentioned how its been months since we have talked to each other, and we used to talk every other day, at least. i told her the same thing.. sorry ive been really busy with school and trying to work so i have some sort of income to help dave with the bills while hes finishing up school and stuff and i have thought about calling and thought about it but something always happens and i never get to call. plus... really...i'm not a phone person. i was like sorry i've been a shitty friend lately. shes like sherrer... dont worry about it. it goes both ways. ive had a phone this whole time too. so she got it.. and it made me feel better.
